Hi all.
I'm new here. But if i search for OScam i don't get any search result.
I use OScam on Enigma2 tuner/pvr with OpenPli image.
OScam is installed from openpli feed, so it works immediately after install.

I got a question about oscam.server configuration:

The configuration that i get from cardsharingserver is:
[reader]
Label                         = name of cardserver
Protocol                      = newcamd
Device                        = url,xxxxx
Key                           = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Account                       = myusername,mypassword
Fallback                      = x
Group                         = x
Caid                          = xxxx
Ident                         = xxxxxx

But when i look at the official OScam wiki at  http://streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/OSCam/en/Config/oscam.server#user , then their is no Account command for in oscam.server configuration file. Their is User & Password. So tomorrow I'll connect for the first time with OScam, i try the account option first, but if it doesn't work i'll try user & password. Anyone else here using OScam ?

[reader]
Label                         = name of cardserver
Protocol                      = newcamd
Device                        = url,xxxxx
Key                           = xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
User                          = myusername
Password                      = mypassword
Fallback                      = x
Group                         = x
Caid                          = xxxx
Ident                         = xxxxxx

I am using Oscam (>62xx) with the parameters user = and password = on this server since December, works fine
I am not sure when the account config was changed, but I think it was quite a while ago ~58xx version of Oscam
My oscam.server for Sky UK, the only available reader on the receiver:
[reader]
label                         = cs-server
description                   = Sky UK HD + ViewAsia + ZeeTV 28E
protocol                      = newcamd525 # the entry newcamd should also be fine
device                        = serverX.cc,portnumber # (all together, no blanks)
key                           = 0102030405060708091011121314 # I dont know why you x-out the key - this is the defauilt key given by the server, you cannot change it yourself
user                          = Jogi
password                 = my-pass
caid                          = 0963
ident                         = 0000:000000
group                        = 1
audisabled                = 1
and for german Sky programs on anther receiver of course with a different CS-account and additional readers:
[reader]
Label                         = sky-ger
enable                        = 1
protocol                      = newcamd
key                            = 0102030405060708091011121314
device                        = serverX.cc,portnumber
user                          = Username
password                 = my-pass
fallback                     = 0
services                      = !hd-plus,sky,!cable,!orf,!mtv
reconnecttimeout       = 120
group                         = 4
audisabled                = 1
Caid                          = 1833

as there is this new Oscam section created in the forum (much appriciated as I use Oscam myself *g*) perhaps someone like some examples for configuration that works on this server.
I have one receiver (Pingulux with Neutrino OS) configured for Sky UK with the following config. Same config also works using Enigma2 GUI.

Path to Oscam config-files can be different, with the start-parameter -c you can change the path to any folder. But in most cases it is:
/var/tuxbox/config
/var/keys
/usr/local/share/config

For additional Oscam configuration (for example a monitoring port can be configured or a webinterface to access and configure Oscam via webbrowser) check out:
http://streamboard.gmc.to/wiki/OSCam/en and click on any filename like oscam.conf for explanations and examples of possible entries

Hi Jogi!

maybe you can send me your   local + CS   oscam configs!  server  config  and user    everything !::)

maybe Post it :)

wer ist hier auch noch aus Österreich ? also ich nicht :)

regarding the problem:
by my knowledge the new ORF-ICE (caid 0d95 Cryptoworks or 0648 Irdeto) card can be used on Cryptoworks mode (0D95) without any special settings. No RAS key, Box ID or special parameters required (MHz = 368)
Irdeto mode would be need to get Austria HD channels opened but by my knowledge this mode will pair the card to a receiver/cam-modul. I am not sure which channels are exclusively in Austria HD pack but basically these are the german HD+ channels - so use original ORF-ICE card in Cryptoworks mode (0D95) for AustriaSat and a german HD+card for RTL&Co in HD (or use an HD+ subscription from the server, or a VIP package that includes HD+).

In this case the configuration will be the same as with old ORF-card (or the common emulators/keyfiles for 0D05 cards).
If you have configured an ooscam.services-file you need to switch caid from 0d05 to 0d95 - other settings like service ids will remain the same
Thats also the fact if you use Oscam in dvbapi-mode together with a oscam.dvbapi-file
Basically these additional files are not really required, using a Oscam-services or a oscam.dvbapi-file only help with better performance on switching channels, thats the only advantage.
I use a oscam.dvbapi file for VIP-All-Ultra package and a ORF/0D05-keyfile for reception of Astra-1/19.2°e ad Astra-2/28.2°e and have the following entries to watch basically german channels and MTVs as well as spanish TV40 and Sol Musica and of course the BSkyB channels on Astra-2.

with an ORF-ICE card in Cryptoworks-mode you need to remove I: 0D95 of course (or replace it with I: 0D05)
And exchange all entries with "P: 0D05...." to "P: 0D95...."
Also some MTV channels can be decoded by ORF-ICE card, so you might replace also P: 0B00:... in MTV section with P: 0D95:... as well
If you decode germans HD+ channels via Sky-CAID 098C you need to remove the complete HD Plus section (all entries starting with P: 1830)
Check the Oscam user config (best to use Oscam WebIF) to make sure you have not specified caids for the user or if you have specified caids for the user make sure that 0d95 is among these caids *g*

If you have further problems please explain it more detailed.
As the server does not offer a ORF-ICE card there should be no conflict at all (at least if you disable the 0D05 old ORF-reader of the server). Even without a special configuration it should already work.

tanks for your answer!  yes i want to use the ORF ICQ  in Cryptoworks mode  in internal reader!

because 0D05  wont work at the end of march anymore! so we all will need the Cryptoworks mode!

i cant get my Reader (Internal) to work with 0D95      do i need the oscam.user  also for it?

maybe you can post me a working  Reader with all neccessary Options AU =1   MHZ = xxx  and so on?

and a working user for that internal reader..

i am new to this so i dont know exactly!

when the internal card is working  i  put the  vip astra package readers  to the server file .. but first  internal card has to work on  0D95

Thanks in advance for your help!

Priority  and  Ignore   i think i can handle

why does it not work? :(

maybe someone has a working oscam config complete
BillingUser: LJstc, Reciever: VU+ Duo2, Enigma 2, Emu: mgcamd, Firmware: BlackHole, Subscription: VIPastra

Jogi

if I take a look at the logfile:
it seems you have a oscam.services-file (not listed with "Cannot open file" in the log)
Is it only a blank file or have you made entries ? if you have settings for ORF make sure it is using 0d95 and not 0d05 for ORF services
on the other hand, from what you post, neither the reader nor the user is configured to use services from the config you post

you have configured a user and thats fine, no further restrictions and the used group is fine
to use this user in dvbapi mode yiu should remove the password from the oscam.user, as it is not possible to stick dvbapi-user to a password
however, you are not using "this user" - the the logfile, the user is always listed as "anonymous" *g*
in dvbapi-mode user anonymous (no configured user) should be correct as well as in dvbapi-mode the unknown user has no restrictions
but to use the user you configured you need to add the following to the oscam.conf-file

[dvbapi]
enabled          = 1
user                = user
au                   = 1
boxtype          = dreambox
pmt_mode      = 0

(and thats all, no option to add a pasword for the user)
while you can completely remove the section [newcamd] from the oscam.conf
the newcamd section is correct and can also remain if you have external clients to connect to your box, but when you only use this receiver to watch the newcamd-part has no effect (so can be removed)

the real problem and I think the reason why it is not working as it already should with the config you provide:
you have configured a reader for new ORF-ICE/0D95-card but you put in an old ORF card with caid 0D05 as you log shows
2015/03/13 16:28:39 5A3E48 r orfice [internal] type: CryptoWorks, caid: 0D05, ascii serial: ##########, hex serial: ##########
(it is not an error or problem with the card or reader that serial number is not shown, Oscam default config remove the number in the log because to many fools had posted their card-serial on the internet *g*).But this is, what Oscam detects, that has nothing to do with configuration in any way, it is an caid 0d05 card in your reader
and you want to share the reader with caid 0d95 - so no matching reader found
in addition the used ORF card need updated or is already disabled, but no valid key on the card

and lots of ignores  of other CAIDs... but thats not the problem!

i think i have to optimise  the lists  for  better response time?
what else can i do for that?  and why keeps oscam hanging with  FF error?

thanks!

basically there is nothing to do to speed up Oscam, it always works as fast as possible
the responses, at least for HD+, seems OK - if it works
but the disconnects, especially from all connections (5) at the same time, looks like a local network problem or a problem with your internet connection
do you use WLan or DLan in the connection of your receiver to your router ? try it with a lan-cable connection
has your internet router an option to prioritize connetions from your local devices (in this case the receiver of course) ? try it
have you simply tried to restart your router and/or WLan-accesspoint (if it is something like this in use)
try to use DNS-server 8.8.8.8 in your sat receiver (manually configure network in sat receiver settings)

with a normal cs-account (no dual login account) you have a backup-server available - have you tried to add the backup servers to your server-configuration ?

you should remove (xxx-out) servername and ports from your logfile and config
